Nigeria: 60 Women & Girls Escape From Boko Haram

AFP reports that more than 60 women and girls abducted last month by Islamist militant sect Boko Haram have escaped. Abbas Gava, a local vigilante told to AFP, “I received an alert from my colleagues … that about 63 of the abducted women and girls had made it back home”. A high-level security source in Borno, who requested to be anonymous, confirmed the escape to the news agency.
