CASTRO –The King Of Collaborations?

Recording a hit song is hard work if you are a solo musician. And it gets even harder if you have to collaborate with another artiste. That is why there are only a handful of artistes who can deliver consistently each time they collaborate with somebody.
If we analyse the hit songs by contemporay Ghanaian artistes and take a ratio of collaborations to solo efforts, it becomes clear that when it comes to collaborations, Castro da DStroyer is easily one of the best musicians in the game. For the sake of analysis, we don't differentiate between collaboration and featuring even though there is a difference in terms of who has the final say over the creative work.
For all you music fans out there, here is a 10-track listing of some of Castro's biggest hits that prove why UndaFyre is the King of Collabo.

DESCRIPTION
E dey bee - Mzbel ft. Castro
Castro DStroyer and Mzbel the Wonder teamed up to produce a tune that became a ladies' favourite. Sound engineer JQ was on point at that time and everything from his studio was a bomb. Castro had this natural ability to deliver on jama- type beats so such a song could only go one way - to the top of the charts!
Ayee - Castro ft Screw Face
You can almost picture Castro singing this song live accompanied by any good traditional jama or kpanlogo band. Screwface and Castro go way back and the two gentlemen have numerous hits like Gblagazaa, Bue and many more.
Agyekoom - Tiffany ft Castro
UndaFyre engaged Tiffany in a sweet call and response. Another one for the ladies.
Adonai Remix - Sarkodie ft. Castro
This kind of collaboration is rare. A song in which two different artistes get to do exactly what they are comfortable with. Sarkodie the rapper drops calculated rhymes in measured bars and Castro the singer sings his heart out to set the mood for the entire song. They do all these on a minimalist beat that draws attention to the lyrics. One of the biggest songs in GH at the moment.
Olofofo - Castro ft. Godwin Dash
After making hits in Fante, Ga and Pidgin with almost all the big stars, Castro did this with this upcoming singer who sang in Yoruba and Pidgin.
Seihor Seihor - Castro ft. D-black
One of the newer tunes.
Back and Front - Castro ft K.K Fosu
One of Castro's strengths is the ability to use multiple melodies and arrange them in a progression that feels natural. In this song, he added adlibs in his high-pitched head voice and a chorus that is easy to sing along. KK Fosu also added a good verse to this song. This was a clubbanger that the ladies simply couldnt have enough of.
Odo Pa - Castro ft. Baby Jet and Kofi Kinata
Hit song! nuff said
African Girls - Castro and Baby Jet
Castro was so good that when he gave professional footballer, Asamoah Baby Jet Gyan a slot in this song, he helped establish the soccer player as a music artiste.
)bra Yebo (The World We Dey) - Kwaw Kese ft. Castro
The intro to this song was so catchy DJ's kept looping it. Credit goes to three people - the beatmaker, Kwaw Kesse and Castro. What Undafyre added was a nice chorus.
BONUS TRACK
I don't care - Cedi n Naira ft Timaya and Castro.
With such talent, we can only hope Castro is alive!
