Transfer Deadline Day: Barnsley sign Frimpong from Arsenal

Barnsley have signed Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong for an undisclosed fee on a deal until the end of the season.

Frimpong, who has not featured for the Gunners this season, had loan spells with Charlton and Fulham last term.
The 24-year-old made 16 appearances for Arsenal after making his debut against Newcastle in August 2011.
The Ghana international could make his debut for the Tykes against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Liverpool full-back Ryan McLaughlin has extended his loan at Oakwell until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old, who is currently out with a hamstring injury, has made one appearance so far for Danny Wilson's side.
